Biljana Kostovska
In February 2009 Biljana Kostovska founded Bred Center (Bright Edge Consultancy), a small Macedonian consultancy firm providing Access to finance (accessibility of alternative financing options) and FDI (foreign direct investment) consultancy (providing local support), EU funds project planning and General Management Consulting. This year’s topic of the Global Entrepreneurship Week goes hand in hand with Bred Center’s activities; therefore the company acts as a partner in organization and execution of the programme on the 19th of November.
From 2007 to 2009, prior to forming Bred Center, Biljana was an investment professional under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia working in the Macedonian Embassies in Athens, Greece and Bucharest, Romania. In the period between the two positions for promoting Macedonia as an investment destination, she managed the network of 20 promoters in the HQs in Skopje.
Biljana holds an MBA (with honours) from the Hellenic American University, Athens, Greece and her undergraduate degree is (with honours) in Business Administration, Marketing. She holds three distinctions for academic achievements.
In the period between her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she worked for South East Europe Enterprise Development (SEED), SEAF (Small Enterprise Assistance Funding) and Market Vision, a marketing agency. Today she strives to further develop into a consulting professional, oriented towards expending Bred Center into a strong regional skills and knowledge centre, which will benefit from and contribute to the region’s advancement towards the EU.
